  1. Hubby has an ulcer. It keeps flaring with stress . I’d like to not rely on meds. Any foods to eat/avoid for faster healing? Thank you in advance!!!!

    • I am working with someone right now with an ulcer. There are very effective natural remedies to fight the cause and soothing products to help with healing. He needs something to address H. pylori while healing tissue, so not a simple answer. It takes more than food alone. I would need to know more about how bad and details on digestive symptoms. I might be able to help with just a month of email support, and skip the whole plan. Send an email if you want to pursue that.

    • Curcumin has many benefits, but you do need a form that is assimilated well, plus concentrated. Best form I have found that meets these criteria is Thorne Meriva 500 (not the SR). Email me for a reliable source and a discount.

  2. Hi Linda: If I ingest turmeric on its own (I have been mixing it with 1 tsp of coconut oil), will I get the same anti-inflammatory benefits as taking just the active ingredient curcumin? If not, how much turmeric would I have to take to get the curcumin benefits? Love your blog.

    • Every little bit helps and mixing with a beneficial fat is helpful too, so keep doing that. I haven’t read through all the literature on curcumin dose, but I can say my clients report pain relief with 1000 mg of curcumin extract in a specific phytosome preparation (needs to be in a more bioavailable form than turmeric in a capsule). Email me and I can send you a link to a a very therapeutic brand.

      • Could I please get the link to the thousand milligram curcumin extract dose, as I have arthritis in my hands
Would like to give it a try. Stopping the sugar has been a huge help. Thank you

        • Amazon stocks quite a few curcumin products at or close to 1g. I order Thorne Research Meriva for my clients and get good feedback. It needs to be in a complex that makes it absorbable, like phosphatidyl choline or black pepper. There are some effective homeopathic remedies depending on your exact presentation and symptoms.
