Are Walnuts Really Drugs?
Friday, September 30th, 2011Just a couple handfuls of delicious walnuts a day help fend off cancer and heart disease. By publishing the studies that prove it, Diamond Foods, Inc. was informed by the FDA that their walnuts are to be classified as drugs and their unauthorized health claims subjected their product to seizure or injunction.
Supplement Access Threatened
Thursday, September 15th, 2011Taking quercetin (an antioxidant found in fruits) can halt a sinus allergy in minutes. A client of mine from New York was on prescription drugs for allergies. She was surprised she could not only breathe clearly but smell roses for the first time in years after taking a quercetin capsule instead of her meds. Your freedom to choose these natural remedies may end this year. A new bill introduced by Sen Dick Durbin (D-Ill) will treat supplements like drugs, making them very expensive or unavailable at all.
Drug Giants vs. Supplement Makers
Monday, February 22nd, 2010The second story is about legislation John McCain is pushing that will restrict your access to nutritional supplements. The ironic part is that certain supplements can reverse type 2 diabetes and even arthritis, quite easily, and with no side effects.
Should the government control your access to supplements, especially while allowing deaths to happen so easily with drugs? I suppose you could take a bottle of vitamin A pills and overdose, or take a handful of vitamin C and get temporary diarrhea, but a heart attack? Sudden death? Never heard of this. Drinking a liter of vodka might lead to death; Should we outlaw vodka?
Sick Care: Keeping Your Money & Health With “Reform”
Wednesday, January 6th, 2010If the new health care reform bill passes, you will be forced to pay thousands of dollars to insurance companies, which promote the sick model. You will be forced to pay for drugs and surgery, not promotion of health or prevention of disease. Instead of diverting extra money to organic carrots, you will need to send it to a corporation. Is this even unconstitutional? It is definitely bad for your health. What do you need to stay well?
