Your Hosts: Second generation wine producing family member, Sheila Fetzer, Gourmet Food Therapist, Linda Prout, MS.
Sheila Fetzer
Sheila has been involved in wine production and ranch life in Mendocino county for over 30 years, beginning with her late husband, Robert Fetzer, the well known Mendocino vintner.
After the sale of the wildly successful Fetzer Vineyards, Robert, Sheila and their two sons bought the 8000 acre Masut Ranch in northern Mendocino and pursued their own vision of planting organic grapes and raising pastured cattle with integrity, hands-on quality and respectful living.
Together with her sons, today Sheila runs the ranch with a creative spirit and passion for art and music. The family dream of building a small winery was recently completed and this year marks the premiere release of Masut Pinot Noir, a long awaited Estate grown and bottled organic wine.
Sheila’s passion for sustainable wine, food and living shines through in her renown gourmet gala events for wine customers, ranch guests, hunting retreats, and other social groups held at the ranch. Sheila uses locally produced, sustainable ingredients to create memorable feasts with a festive-earthy style and spirit.
